Our Feedback

Without this playgroup, L wouldn’t be where he is now. They’ve helped me so much. L loves his playgroup. His communication and speech has come so far because of the amazing staff.

Bekki Fisher –

Manager/SENCo/DSL

I have worked in Childcare for since leaving school in 2001. I have an NVQ Level 3 in children’s, care, learning and development. I started my journey in childcare as an apprentice in a day nursery and have worked my way up over the years (in between having my own two children) to become part of the management team in various settings. I have also worked in schools as a Learning Support Assistant in Year R.

I have various roles within the setting, I am the safeguarding lead for Seahawk and have completed level 4 safeguarding training. I am also the settings SENCo and have achieved my Level 3 SENCo award. I keep my knowledge up to date with regular training and CPD. I have a paediatric first aid certificate which I update every 3 years.

I am very fortunate to have a job that I have such a passion for, I love to see the children grow and develop knowing that I have been part of their journey.

Jenny Dudley –

Early Years Practitioner

I have been working in the childcare sector for over 40 years, including pre schools, day nurseries and maternity hospitals. I started working for Naval Under Fives in 1987, I have worked in all of the settings in one role or another.

Childcare has always been my passion, watching children learn and grow over the years has been a true privilege.

Being able to work with some fantastic people as well as all the wonderful children has been a truly amazing experience.
